Sponsor | BStabler | Jul 30, 2005 5:57pm | | Any suggestions for a casual ebayer? I'm just starting to sell junk from around the house not trying to be a powerhouse. My biggest question is what's a reasonable handling charge? Sure I know I have to cover ebay and possible paypal fees and shipping materials (recycled boxes laying all over the garage) but what's a reasonable charge? $2.50? $3.50? more? |

More for int since I have to actually trek it to the PO to handle the customs bit. Otherwise I just print my labels and pay for my postage via Paypal and hand my packages to the postman. Shipping materials are free as I ship everything USPS Priority or Global Priority. You can order these directly from usps.com. I personally *never* buy from sellers who jack up their shipping and handling charges. If you need a higher profit margin up your starting price. |
